CREATE AND CONFIGURE A NEW BRAINCUBE DATABASE

To create a new Braincube database, open customer's Braincube, and go to "Data", "Base".

1 - Create the database

Click to the "New base" button, to open the creation pop-up :

First, complete :
• Name of the database
• Name of the MX Brain LF and HF (select in list)
• Name of the Table LF (select in list)

BE CAREFUL NOT TO CHOOSE A LF_TABLE ALREADY USED FOR ANOTHER DATABASE !!!

1 LF_table = 1 database

Save now.
Identifier and Reference date will have to be completed after adding variables on database.

2 - Add variables

Add variables into your new database

See : Data transformation / Variable(s) creation

Make sure to create the variable IDMX

  • Name = Index IDMX
  • LF Key = IDMX
  • HF Key = IDMX
  • Numerical
  • Indicator

3 - Finish database configuration

Go back to the database to complete its configuration.

Go to "Data", "Base", and click on the name of the database to re open the pop-up.

Complete now :
• Identifier = IDMX as numerical variable (select in list).

💡 LK Key and HF key have to be filled as soon as the database is created for the live operation.

• Reference date = date to chosen as a reference for the database (select in list).

Save. Your new base is created.
You can now push files to your database.
