HOW TO CREATE A SERVICE ACCOUNT?

Only admin profiles can create a service account. A service account will be able to connect to Braincube (with the certificate) with a user profile (not modifiable)

  1. Click on your initials, then click on "Administration".

  1. Choose the "Service accounts" tab and click on the yellow button at the bottom right "Create a service account".

  2. Then, choose the product (Braincube or IoT server), fill the owner (email address that will receive the certificate) and the name.
    You can see only to the products on which you are admin.

  1. The owner will receive an email.

Helpful tips

  1. If you cannot find your Service Account on the Administration page, remember to check the 'Service Account configuration' page on the Account page.
  2. Please use a different title/name other than your first and last name for the service account email. Otherwise, you will see these Service Accounts show up with your duplicated name in other applications like ToDo, creating confusion in future usage.

Note: a service account has no email address associated, and can only connect through a certificate.
