Prerequisite: Corporate Administrator Rights

You must be a Corporate Administrator for all Braincube sites within your group to activate Companion. This activation is a one-time process that automatically applies across all sites. If you lack these permissions, contact your IT administration before proceeding.

🛠️ Detailed Guide: Connecting Anthropic (Claude) to Braincube Companion

This guide will help you generate the API Key required to activate your LLM provider. This process is straightforward.

Phase 1: Generating the Key

  1. Log in to the Anthropic Console.
    • Note: This is different from the standard "Claude.ai" chat interface.
  2. In the dashboard, click on Get API Keys (or look for "API Keys" in the top navigation bar).
  3. Click Create Key.
  4. Name: Enter braincube-companion(or any name of your choice) to easily identify it later.
  5. Workspace: Select your organization's primary workspace if prompted.
  6. Click Create Key.

Phase 2: The "One-Time" Copy

  1. Copy the key immediately. This string (starting with sk-ant-...) will only be displayed once.
    • If you lose it, you cannot view it again; you will have to generate a new one and update the configuration in Braincube.
  2. Go to your Companion Admin Page.
  3. Select Anthropic as your provider.
  4. Paste the key into the API Key field.
  5. Click Save.

Troubleshooting: Poor Quality Answers or Errors

If Companion responds with poor quality answers or error messages, it is likely due to a Rate Limit from your AI provider. Please check your provider's console (Limits/Quotas section) to ensure your account Tier is high enough to support your team's usage volume.
