Studio is designed for visualization of realtime data.
Best practice would be to limit yourselves to no more than ~1K point per chart - knowing that with ~1K points you will still have a big performance hit on your display.
The Studio Charts-widget was designed for a short-term, immediate glance at your data. If you have more than a couple hundred points per chart, best practice is to embed web-assets from the Charts app since the Charts app was designed for large datasets. Limiting studio charts to around 100 points as a general rule of thumb is best practice.
Additionally, the maximum supported storage for Studio overall is:
- 100K points
- 7 days
Whichever comes first is the limit we support - if your Studio dashboards require additional points, we are not able to support that amount of data.
