Brainwords :
Memory Base (MB) = a database referring to a timestamp created with the same frequency of the raw data (minutes, second…)
Product Clone (PC) = a database referring to a physical thing (minutes lagged data aggregate to a product, one hour of energy consumption...)
Why ?
Processes usually involve many steps in generating a product, and data is recorded at regular time points.
Contextualizing data allows us to see the impact of an early stage variable on a downstream objective

It's mandatory for building the Product Clone databases in continuous process.
Lag groups
A Lag group is part of the process with the same Time zone
Lag groups are defined with customer during the Product Clone Design Meeting and the creation of the Process mapping document.
Two types of Lag groups :
- Unlagged data : Final lag group or misc tags that don’t fit in lag groups
- Lagged data : in the groups established

You can have different Locations / Sub-locations in the same Lag Group.
When ?
Different steps of the process can be generating a Lag :
- Tank in continuous process
Ex : Storage Tank - Process in batch/cycle mode
Ex : Fermentor, Digester, Reactor, Furnace - Conveyor
