HOW DO I REMOVE UNREALISTIC VALUES FROM A VARIABLE ?

Sometimes values are received for a variable that do not make sense. It's possible to filter out this data at the variable level by adding limits to the variable properties. Note that as with changing any other variable property, this change applies for all users and for all uses of the variable. When a variable with limits is used as an input to a calculated variable in Braincube, the limits will also apply to the data where the limits applied will be used in the calculation.

  1. Enter Lower and Upper Limits as needed. If a limit is left blank, all values in the respective direction will be displayed.
  2. If the "Value if outside of limit" field is populated, the value will be replaced with the entered value. If left blank, the value will be null.

Deleting a limit and saving the variable configuration will restore the variable to its original state.
