/!\ Before creating SPC reports, it is necessary to know that SPC reports are not made to be used in Quick Study (either for Dashboard or live) because it is designed to work with dynamic databases. ( The data is updated regularly ). If you want to make SPC at a moment T, it would be better to make graphs and put them in BrainBoxes to save them ( frozen in instant T )
- Open the apps palette (1), then (2) "Production standards"
- Click on the "+" icon
- Enter a name and a description for your specification (1). You can add some filters here (conditions) (2):
- Select your variables (1) and change the limits if necessary (2). Default values proposed by Braincube are :
- +2/-2 sigma for Internal limits
- +3/-3 sigma for Customer limits
You can open the graph of a variable (3), or split a variable by a category variable (4):
- You can activate SPC or Braincube Live recipe (2):
- SPC: if you want to monitor your parameters in the SPC module using control cards (cf SPC Report catalog). Click on configure to define the alerts.
- Braincube Live recipe: if you want to monitor using dials in the live (cf Live Catalog).
- You can add a "Theme" (field to categorize your variables in a Live). You can also change the control card displayed in the SPC module. By default, individual control chart is defined. If you click on it, you can choose:
- average & standard deviation control chart
- average & range control chart
- Click on "Save".
