On Data => Variables, you have the list of the variables of your current database. By default, the variables are ordered by creation date.

You can find different options to search/filter on this list:
By Data Type (traceability, date/time, category, numerical) and Type (calculated variables, other variables). Data type varieties include:
a. Numerical - Data is handled as numbers and can have arithmetic functions applied for statistics (average, standard deviation etc). Please be aware that not all tags with a readout of "Number" values should be treated as Numerical depending on how you would like to use them; numerical variables with a discrete number of values (such as valve position = 0, 1, 2) may be better defined as Category. Braincube will ignore non-numeric values in a numerical datatype.
b. Category - Data is handled as "discrete" values with inherent meaning. (ex., "On/off", "A/B/C", Product Description, etc.). Category variables with more than 100 distinct modalities should be defined as Traceability variables.
c. Traceability - A category variable that functions similar to a primary index where each record contains a unique modality. While modalities may repeat in a Traceability variable, the number of modalities in the database is expected to be greater than 100. Ex., production lot numbers.
d. Datetime - Data is handled as Date/Time information and respects a common date/time format.
By the dataproperties: Locations, Families, Types, Control Type,...
Order your list by alphabetical way on each column (local, tag, standard, owner, datatype), by clicking on the field
By name, using the search bar.
