HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE RESULT OF A HYPERCUBIC RUN ?

  1. The chart is called “Size-Lift Diagram”.
Braincube will calculate and show you by default the best 100 rules organized by Rank.
    • In orange, you have the best hypercubic rules.
    • In blue, the other hypercubic rules.
    • In black, the stochastic rule.

Each blue and orange point on the chart is a rule positioned to show the number of points in the subset vs the lift that is the percentage of the increase of the ratio of good vs bad when in the rule, compared to the original population.

  1. Each line in the table below is a rule with some of its attributes (number of points, lift, % good and bad). You can sort each column.
You can click on the cube to open the rule:

You are redirected to the rule page:

  1. The table at the right shows the number of times each displayed variable appears among the X orange rules. X is defined using the dropdown on top of the chart. It’s by default on 20.
When you hover over a variable, you can decide to look at rules that do or do not contain the variable (by clicking on the plus and minus buttons).
