You can define the period to display. It will be applied for all the elements (metrics and graphics) of your dashboard (all the tabs).
Standard dropdown period selections use periods to date. For example in the image below, the one week duration starts on the first day of the week (a Sunday morning at 12 am as configured for the base) and ends on the current datetime. Thus the period displayed would be shorter than 1 week's time except at the very end of the week.
