How to set up your own certificate for your IoT Server ?
if you don't know what you are doing here ask your IT or Braincube
Using IoT Server Supervision you can chose between three settings for your machine:
- HTTP, TLS off
- HTTPS, self-signed certificate
- HTTPS, your own certificate
By default an IoT Server is in HTTPS using a self-signed certificate. That's why your web-browser warn a user when you open the webpage.
To change that you can expand your IoT Server on your IoT Supervision and open the page Security
From here you can switch between the different choices and for example chose HTTPS max secu if you want to use your own domain and your own certificate. Once you switched it just add your key (pem format) and your certificate (pem format). Click on Save and it's done.
