This procedure is for introducing a new data source into the data feed to Braincube. To successfully add a data source, Braincube must first prepare the backend systems to receive and interpret the incoming data. Please read these instructions carefully to help us deliver accurate data over a smooth process.
- Provide a sample data file as it will be sent to Braincube in its final version. (Note 1)
1.a. Download a copy of "DataSourceStructure" Tab of this workbook. - Complete the "Enter Information" column of this worksheet. (Note 2)
- Attach your completed sheet to a new "Data Source Structuration" To-Do request. Please note, the To-Do for a new data source has to be created in a project other that the one labeled "Service." (See #7)
- Follow the Add Tags process to have tags structured from this new data source.
- Files from new data sources must remain consistent in their style, formatting, naming convention, and file type as long as they are being sent to Braincube. Any changes will result in a failure of the Braincube backend systems to properly recognize, interpret, and present your data.
- Has this data source been structured at another site? You still need to complete this form but please consider designing an extraction that is consistent with other sites.
- Braincube cannot "Pre-structure" or "prepare in advance" for potential files. We need the sample file first.
