/!\ This procedure is for activate the 2FA only for your account. If you want to active it for all the users, you can follow the procedure here.
First, you need to download a soft token authenticator, like FreeOTP or Google Authenticator on the secondary device you want to use.
When it is ready, click on your initials and on "Account":

Activate 2FA in Braincube
Open "Security and login", then toggle the button to the right (in red on the screenshot)

From here, follow the instructions on screen:
2FA, connected, connected*, Scan the QR code with the soft token authenticator:
- A PIN code will be displayed on your mobile phone.
- Enter this code.
- 2FA is activated (a green notification will pop-up in a few seconds to confirm).

Logging-in when using 2FA :
When connecting to Braincube when using 2FA, you will need to enter a temporary code that will be given on your secondary device, right after entering your password.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- An admin has the right to invalidate the 2FA for the users of his braincube, be careful if the braincube rule obliges the 2fa (2FA_MANDATORY) then the user will be obliged to recreate his 2FA at the next connection.
- The rules of all the Braincubes to which a user is connected are aggregated for the security rules. So even if they connect to Braincube A, having rights to Braincube B where the 2FA is mandatory forces them to configure their 2FA. (Because once connected they can switch from one product to another).*
- 2FA mandatory or not doesn't mean you can't use it. Even if none of your Braincubes force the 2FA you can use it for your own.
